My Australian Cycling Adventures

2009 April 6

I have always enjoyed the various forms of cycling over the years, but owing to a busy job schedule driving trams on Melbourne’s vast tram network, I don’t have as much time to enjoy myself as I would like, or indeed for my overall health should do!

But now that I’m putting any adventures into the site, it’s a great incentive to get out and about and enjoy myself again. I have another site called comecyclingwithme.com which you are also welcome to have have a look at, its had nearly 400 entries in its first three months.

At Easter I’m going to Tasmania for the Mersey Valley Three Day tour which is based at the famous Mural Town of Sheffield, I’m going by ferry and taking the bike with me, so look out for some more activity after the trip.

Take care and keep cycling!

Venture into cyberspace

2009 March 30

David Priestley is exploring different means by which he can spread the word about the humble bicycle – the industry surrounding it, sporting activity undertaken astride it, recreation opportunities and sights worth visiting on it and the “it” itself!

He has already made lots of comments, observations and lists via his first effort which can be found here.

This particular site will feature David’s own exploits astride his trusty Jamis Coda Sport flatbar road bike.
